Applying Oils to Oily Skin

11/03/2016 10:45

Applying an oil to your skin might seem illogical at first, particularly if your skin is already oily. You may be wondering why anyone would want shiny, unattractive, greasy looking skin. We are exposed to sun throughout the year, even on cloudy days. However, it's especially during summertime that the suns rays can cause havoc on our skin. The UV rays from the sun may feel amazing at the time, but their after effects may not be so welcome.

We can't feel the damaging effects of UV rays on the skin; it can happen even when the sun doesn’t feel hot or when theres there's plenty of cloud cover. This is why it's so important to be aware of when the risks are highest, so that we can take adequate precautions rather than deal with the consequences once skin damage has already occurred.
